Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Mitigation

Conductive anti-static fabric is engineered by incorporating Conductive Filaments (typically carbon, stainless steel, or silver-coated fibers) into the warp or weft of the textile. These filaments create a network that safely dissipates electrostatic charges that naturally build up on synthetic materials due to friction. This process mitigates Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) events, which can disrupt sleep and attract dust.

The goal is to maintain a Surface Resistivity within the 106 to 1011 ohms/square range, effectively neutralizing the static potential of the mattress surface.
